The shy girls’ choir moves the audience to tears, prompting Simon to declare the performance the “most beautiful ever.”
Performing in front of a massive crowd is no easy feat. It requires a great deal of confidence and courage. Yet, every year, hundreds of individuals take to the stage on talent shows to showcase their skills to the world.
One of the most renowned platforms for such performances is Britain’s Got Talent. The video below features a participating group from the show called “Angelicus Celtis.” This choir group consists of 17 young ladies who were determined to make their instructor proud.
Initially nervous as they stepped onto the stage, each of the girls ended up delivering a performance of a lifetime. Their flawless rendition of Puccini’s “Nessun Dorma” not only wowed the audience but also impressed the tough judges.
Before their performance, they shared the emotional significance of their audition. The couple who had tutored them was involved in a serious car accident, which tragically claimed the life of the wife, Jean, and left the husband, John, badly injured. Despite this tragedy, John knew that he had to give the girls a chance to audition.
Returning to coach the girls in memory of his beloved wife, John accompanied the group during their audition. Their beautiful performance undoubtedly made him proud. Even Simon declared their version of the song as the best he had ever heard.
