Simon Cowell’s Son Eric Steals the Show with His Hilarious Act
We all grew up watching Simon Cowell become a sassy judge on reality shows. We actually love him for his brutally honest reactions to people singing. So, it’s not really a surprise when he’s not really impressed with someone and says it to their face. But it was a little different for this contestant who came in to audition for the X-Factor.
Curtis Moore walked onto the audition stage of X-Factor UK, hoping to win hearts. The moment he walked in, Cheryl Cole asked him a bunch of questions to help him ease up on stage. When it was Simon’s turn to ask, he was taken aback by the teenager’s attitude.
Without anyone saying a word, Moore told the judges to let him sing and started his performance. He chose “Let Me Love You” by Mario, a romantic RnB track from the “Step Up” movie soundtrack. Three out of four judges were quite impressed with his singing. Cheryl even complimented him, saying he had Chris Brown’s swagger.
However, Simon was not at all feeling the attitude the 16-year-old gave him. He asked Curtis how he thought he did, but the way Curtis answered made Simon more furious. Simon told Curtis to “zip it and stop being such a smarta**.” Despite his frustration, Simon admitted he liked Curtis and his swagger, but emphasized that to make it, he needed to work on his attitude. Ultimately, Curtis made it through to the next round.
This encounter highlighted Simon’s ability to see potential in contestants while still holding them accountable for their behavior. It also showcased Simon’s commitment to nurturing raw talent, ensuring that promising individuals like Curtis have the best chance to succeed by addressing not just their musical abilities but also their personal growth.
